Price began his professional career as a corporate human resources executive. After working for eight years in the corporate world, he began his radio and television career at WSEE-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania, as a morning and afternoon meteorologist.
From there, Price joined CBS affiliate WBBM-TV in Chicago from 1996 to 1998, as a morning time anchor and reporter.
