Big E is an American professional wrestler and former powerlifter and American football player. He signed for WWE, where he performs under the SmackDown brand under the ring name Big E where he is a member of The New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They are also the current SmackDown Tag Team champions in their record breaking fourth reign.

Big E was born as Ettore Ewen on March 1, 1986 in Tempa, Florida in the United States. He is 33 years old.

He attended Wharton High School in Tampa, where he won numerous athletic awards, including a state high school wrestling championship and was named Hillsborough County ‘Ironman of the Year’. Upon graduation, Ewen attended the University of Iowa, where she played American Football as a defensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
He was redshirted in 2004 and missed the 2005 season due to an injury in the preseason field, playing only one season in his sophomore in 2006. He graduated with an arts degree. After college, Ewen turned her attention to the sport of powerlifting.
BIG E CAREER
Big E made his first appearance as a powerlifter competing in the USA Powerlifting on July 11, 2010, at the United States Open Championships at Nova Southern University in Davie, Florida. He became the top heavyweight athlete by breaking all four Florida State Raw Powerlifting records in the 275-pound class.
Ewen signed a development contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and was assigned to its development territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. On December 17, 2009, he debuted with the ring name, Big E Langston and won the FCW Tag Team Championship by teaming up with Calvin Raines in a match against Richie Steamboat and Seth Rollins.
After FCW was renamed NXT, Langston made his debut by defeating Adam Mercer, which marked the start of a winning streak for him. He then started having a conflict with The Shield and won the NXT championship title in a non-disqualification match against Seth Rollins.
Big E made his first appearance in the Raw episode on December 17, 2012, attacking John Cena in coordination with AJ Lee, establishing himself as a villain. He is a WWE Intercontinental Champion and two-time WWE (Raw) Tag Team Champion and holds the longest record for the Tag Team Championship title in WWE history. It is a third of The New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
