After the game, Iverson said: ‘I thought I was fouled in that play, and I said I thought it was defining the personal game, I should have known that I couldn’t say anything anyway. It has been something personal between him and me since I entered the league. This was just the perfect game for him to try and make me look bad. ‘

WHERE IS ALLEN IVERSON TODAY
Unfortunately, Allen’s career was certainly over when he was heading to the Memphis Grizzlies (2009-2010). His poor performance, controversial lifestyle, and of course stiff competition from incoming basketball players made it harder for Allen E to secure a position in the first team.
There was more talk of how he had wasted money on life’s little luxuries, bankruptcy cases and property seizures. At one point, a judge ordered Ivy to pay a debt of approximately $ 900,000 owed to a jeweler. But he didn’t have the funds.
Allen tried to restore its former glory but all efforts became in vain. He officially retired in 2013. Life can certainly be difficult for a person who once lived generously, having to stick to a budget to avoid going broke.
However, all is not lost for Allen Iverson. A deal he made with Reebok many years ago will continue to pay him $ 1 million a year and a lump sum of $ 32 million when he turns 55 (2030). Looking at Allen Iverson’s net worth of $ 1 million, one can only wish he invested his money wisely.
ALLEN IVERSON MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
On November 3, 2008, Iverson was transferred from the Denver Nuggets to the Detroit Pistons for guard Chauncey Billups, striker Antonio McDyess and center Cheikh Samb.
Iverson, who had worn the number 3 jersey for his entire NBA career, moved up to number 1 for the Pistons, which Billups previously wore for the team.
Iverson has scored at least 24 goals in four of his first five games with Detroit (they have won 3 of 5),and would have scored 20 or more with 6 or more assists on a consistent basis, but as the season went on, he would lose time playing against Rodney Stuckey.
Some have speculated that Joe Dumars, president of the Pistons basketball operations, did not envision a long-term role for Iverson on the team, but traded for him to make Stuckey the point guard of the future and free space with the expiring contract of Iverson.
On April 3, 2009, it was announced that Iverson would not play the remainder of the 2008-2009 season. Dumars cited Iverson’s back injury as the reason for his deactivation, although two days earlier Iverson had publicly stated that he preferred to retire rather than be moved to the bench as Pistons manager Michael Curry had decided.
On September 10, 2009, Iverson signed a one-year contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. He stated that ‘God has chosen Memphis as the place where I will continue my career’ and that ‘I feel they are committed to developing a winner’.
However, Iverson again expressed his displeasure at being a bench player, and left the team on November 7, 2009, for ‘personal reasons’.
On November 16, the Grizzlies announced that the team has terminated its ‘mutual agreement’ contract. He played three games for the Grizzlies, averaging 12.3 ppg, 1.3 rpg and 3.7 apg in 22.3 mpg.

On November 25, 2009, analyst Stephen A. Smith posted on his blog a statement attributed to Iverson announcing retirement plans, which also read: ‘I strongly believe I can still compete at the highest level.’
Less than a week later, on November 30, Iverson and his reps met with a Philadelphia 76ers delegation to return to his former team and accepted a contract offer two days later.
General manager Ed Stefanski refused to enter the terms of the deal, but an unnamed source told The Associated Press that Iverson accepted an unsecured one-year contract at the championship minimum wage.
Iverson would receive a prorated share of the $ 1.3 million minimum wages for players with at least 10 years of experience and the contract would be guaranteed for the remainder of the 2009-10 season if he remained on the roster on January 8, 2010.
Stefanski said the team made the decision to go after Iverson after starting guard Louis Williams suffered a broken jaw and was expected to lose at least 30 games.
On December 7, 2009, Iverson made his return to Philadelphia, garnering a thunderous ovation from the sold-out crowd, in a defeat to his former team, the Denver Nuggets.
He finished the game with 11 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, one steal and no turnover.Iverson’s first win on his return to Philadelphia came a week later, in a 20-point effort against the Golden State Warriors, ending the Sixers’ 12-game losing streak (which was 9 games before the return of Iverson). He shot 70 percent off the pitch in the game.
On January 3, 2010, he returned to Denver to face the Nuggets; Iverson scored 17 points and seven assists in the 108-105 win.He was voted starter for the All-Star Game for the 11th consecutive season.
He scored a record 23 points (on 56% of shots from the field) in the 99-91 defeat to Kobe Bryant and the defending Lakers champion.
On February 22, 2010, Iverson left the 76ers indefinitely, citing the need to care for the health problems of his 4-year-old daughter Messiah, which he revealed years later as Kawasaki disease.
On March 2, Stefanski announced that Iverson would not be returning to the 76ers for the remainder of the season to take care of the personal matter. His last NBA game was a loss to Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on February 20, 2010.
