Alison Becker is an American actress, comedian, television personality, and television writer. She was born on March 8, 1977 in Allamuchy Township, New Jersey.

Alison Becker is the former host of Top 20 Video Count Down on VH1 and is also the former co-host of The Daily Habit on Fuel TV. She attended Georgetown University in Washington DC where she graduated in English in 1999. She moved to New York City and began exploring the fields of theater and comedy, creating a variety of original characters and sketch comedies.

ALISON BECKER PARKS AND REC

The reporter , is the third episode of the first season of the American comedy television series Parks and Recreation. It originally aired on NBC in the US on April 23, 2009. The episode was written by Daniel J. Goor and directed by Jeffrey Blitz. In the episode, Leslie enlists a local reporter to write an article about the park, but the interviews go wrong and the problem escalates after Mark becomes romantically involved with the reporter.

The episode featured actress and comedian Alison Becker in a guest appearance by Pawnee Journal reporter Shauna Malware-Tweep. The Reporter has received generally mixed reviews, with some commentators still comparing it unfavorably to The Office, another comedy series created by co-creators of Parks and Recreations.

According to Nielsen Media Research, it was viewed by 5.23 million households in its original airing, continuing a downward trend in ratings since the pilot episode. The Reporter and the rest of Parks and Recreation’s first season were released on DVD in the United States on September 8, 2009.

ALISON BECKER CALIFORNICATION

Californication is an American drama television series created by Tom Kapinos, which aired for seven seasons on Showtime from August 13, 2007 to June 29, 2014. The show follows New Yorker Hank Moody (David Duchovny), a troubled novelist who moves to California and suffer from writer’s block. His drinking, making women and drug abuse complicate his relationships with his longtime lover Karen (Natascha McElhone) and their daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin). Hank struggles to find purpose in his life as he gives up multiple opportunities until he makes the right decision for happiness.

The other main characters on the show are Hank’s best friend and agent, Charlie Runkle (Evan Handler), and Charlie’s wife, Marcy (Pamela Adlon). The recurring themes are sex, drugs, and rock and roll, all of which feature regularly, as is the seedier side of Los Angeles. The show was nominated for several awards and won several, including winning two Emmy Awards (nominated for two more) and a Golden Globe (nominated for five more)
