Alice Smith is an American singer and songwriter, her style is anchored in rock, R&B, blues, jazz and soul. She is married to Citizen Cope, an American singer and songwriter.
Her debut album, For Lovers, Dreamers & Me, was a collection of songs that spanned genres, from country to rock to funk. Due to her musical prowess, she was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Urban / Alternative category in the year 2007.
The artist ventured completely into singing, releasing his first album in 2006. The album was met with great success by critics.
The famous R Olling Stone Magazine applauded, admitting that ‘Smith could easily be merged with expressive songs like Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, but has a broader palette of both’.
Over the years she has managed to compose a variety of songs. The song entitled Dream was included in an episode of Entourage (Season 4) during the credits.

In 2011 he collaborated with Aloe Blacc to contribute the song ‘Baby’ to the most recent Red Hot Organization charity album Red Hot + Rio 2 . The album is a sequel to 1996’s Red Hot + Rio . Proceeds from the sales will be donated to raise awareness and money to fight AIDS / HIV and related health and social issues.
In 2018, Smith’s song ‘Fool For You’ was included in the Season 4 episode One of My Three Soups of the Gotham TV series, which chronicles the events leading up to Batman’s arrival.
