If you’re a real crime aficionado, it appears that you’ll be caught red-handed by binge-watching yet another crime show. VH1 just announced the premiere of “My True Crime Story,” a new series that showcases first-person narratives of those involved in high-profile crimes.
Who is the narrator of “My True Crime Story”?
Remy Ma, a rapper-turned-actor, will host the show, and he knows what it’s like to have a busy life. Remy was imprisoned after being arrested in July 2007 on suspicion of shooting her companion Makeda Barnes-Joseph in a Manhattan nightclub over a financial disagreement.
The plot of “My True Crime Story”
The series will tell true stories of criminal activity and injustice from those who have lived through it. People will tell their stories of criminal conduct, injustice, and racism at the hands of law enforcement in My True Crime Story. In the trailer, Remy says that these atrocities have made news; now hear the genuine story from the same brains.
